This website is owned and operated by the Spaces Of Opportunity, is a partnership of Desert Botanical Garden, TigerMountain Foundation, the Orchard Community Learning Center, Roosevelt School District No. 66, and Unlimited Potential. We operate this website (www.spacesofopportunity.org) and we take your privacy very seriously. We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of visitors to our website including mobile versions of our website. This privacy policy identifies and describes the way SPACES uses and protects the information that we may collect about individuals who use the website. This policy may be changed or updated from time to time.

THE PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

If you apply for membership, you may optionally enter certain personal information for those you include on your membership. We may ask you to provide us with information regarding your personal or professional interests, demographics, experience with our programs, and more detailed contact preferences in order to analyze trends, gather demographic information about our users, understand your engagement with SPACES’ Services, administer the Services, tailor the Services for you, and help the Services work better for you.

We may conduct surveys, contests, promotions on the website, and we may give you the opportunity to participate in these. Participation may require that you submit certain personally identifiable information to SPACES, and we will collect and store this information. PERSONAL INFORMATION SHARED WITH OTHERS

For example, when processing payment for a transaction, SPACES may provide your personal information to a third-party payment processor. If you check the applicable box to consent to disclosing your personally identifiable information to third parties, SPACES may share aggregated user statistics and information with third parties. SPACES does not (and will not) sell or trade your personal information with third parties. We may be required to share your personal information for purposes such as complying with court orders or law enforcement; assisting with identity verification, and to prevent fraud and identity theft; selling SPACES assets or enforcing our agreements and property rights.

ONLINE PRIVACY POLICY FOR CHILDREN

We do not knowingly collect personally identifying information from anyone under the age of 13 unless we first obtain permission from the child’s parent or legal guardian. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information provided by a visitor under the age of 13 without permission from a parent or legal guardian, we will delete the information from our records. A child’s parent or legal guardian can also request that the personal information of their child be deleted from our records. For either method described, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete a child’s personal information in a timely manner consistent with applicable law.

Information that you submit for your sole personal use through SPACES’s services and applications is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access, and SPACES does not access the unencrypted information without your permission. We use industry-wide, standard, commercially reasonable efforts to protect your personal information from access, loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction by any unauthorized party. These include physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. We may share information to assist with security operations for scheduled penetration testing, auditing, and continuous improvement of our security practices, including without limitation, exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection. Authorized parties of the information would comply with our current privacy and security policies.

There is no 100% secured platform available in the industry and we cannot guarantee the security of the information, nor can we guarantee that information you supply in connection with use of the website will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet or wireless communication. Any information you transmit to the website is at your own risk. We do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private.

If you make an online purchase with us through use of a credit card, we encrypt your credit card number. Where you use a SPACES service or application to store your personally identifiable information for access only by you, and where the information is not submitted to SPACES in order to obtain access to SPACES’s services or applications, such personally identifiable information is encrypted and password-protected, and accessible only by you. If we need to ship something to you, we must share your name and address with a shipping company.

“DO NOT TRACK” PRACTICES

We do not honor do-not-track (“DNT”) signals from browsers or other consumer choice mechanisms regarding the collection of behavioral tracking data, as the Internet industry is still working to determine what DNT means, how to comply with DNT, and how to create a common approach to responding to DNT. SOCIAL MEDIA AND PERSONAL INFORMATION

SPACES uses a variety of social media options to communicate and interact with consumers, and has links to certain social media providers available on its website. When interacting with a SPACES presence on those social media websites, you may opt to reveal certain personal information. We may collect the personal information that you make available to us on that page or account, including any information you have made public in connection with that social media service. Any personal information you have chosen to share on any SPACES social media pages will be visible to persons visiting those pages, and privacy on those pages is governed by the privacy policies of those social media companies. Other than to respond to posts or answer questions, SPACES will not use personal information provided on its social media pages without permission from you.

EMAIL AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS

SPACES or third parties that it uses may contact you by email or other means at an address that you have provided to us. If you do not want to receive an email from us, please “unsubscribe” through the link that is included in our emails. If you do not want to receive mailings, simply tell us when you give us your personal information or follow the directions to remove your name from our mailing list.

INFORMATION TRANSFER

The personal information we collect and other information you submit is stored and processed on computers in the United States. Your personally identifiable information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country other than the one in which it was provided, including into the United States.
